The first round of the recruitment process involves reviewing the application documents of the editor or translator. This includes a thorough review of the resume and the academic transcripts. The recruitment officer looks for advanced English language skills, academic writing and editing experience, subject matter expertise, educational qualifications, high academic grades, and an interest and passion for academic writing and their subject matter expertise. We also test applicants’ team work ability as we need people who are professional in their approach to work and who can deliver work on time.
Uni-edit receives hundreds of applications each month, and only a few pass through to the next round because the criteria are so strict.
